Orvieto Area Villas

Carpi is situated just 10 minutes from Orvieto and 60 minutes from the main Rome to Florence motorway. The villa’s character reflects the owner’s taste for the traditional and for the history of colonial-style houses. The antique fireplace and staircase give you a sense of the history of the house, and take you back to a time when the property was occupied by a family of farmers. The house is large and there is independent access to the exterior of the property from a number of rooms. The living areas are elegantly and rustically furnished, the bedrooms are traditional and simple and the bathrooms are simple and tasteful. From the billiard room, there is direct access to the garden which has a stunning view, ample open space and a shady area created by age-old trees complete with tables and chairs. A few meters from the farm-house there is a leafy tunnel adorned with white roses, which leads to the heated swimming pool. The pool is an excellent length for swimmers and there is a pool house next to an arbor. Surrounding the farm-house is a garden and a cultivated field of 5,5 private hectares, beyond which is the guest house (about 80 meters away). The guest house has been constructed recently and has large, light rooms and a furnished outdoor area. A gravel road of about 250 mts leading to the villa is in excellent condition.
