Villa Allegra sits upon a hilltop with stunning views across the forests of the Murlo estate as well as across the Antognolla - Robert Trent Jones Junior designed Golf course which is only 3 minutes away by car or golf cart from the villa (through a special path across the nature). There are plenty of opportunities for viewing local wildlife, as the estate is also a nature reserve and farm. Guests can benefit of particular discounts on the golf green fees and at the famous golf restaurant Il Caldaro. The Antognolla Golf course is set amidst the 600 hectares Antognolla estate in the heart of Umbria. This championship golf course offers golfers of all abilities the opportunity to play on an expertly designed course and is a true test of their skill. The designer has managed to exploit the natural beauty of the terrain in designing a course featuring large undulating greens which require accurate approaches. The par 71 layout is dramatically enhanced by the technical merit of the course and at 6208 metres in length every aspect of your game is challenged. The holes of the course are as individual as they are very demanding and few courses in the world can rival the thrill of playing under the backdrop of the stunning Antognolla Castle.
