Nestled in the green heart of Italy near Narni, Umbria, is the stunning and refined villa of Torre Palombara which dates back to the 15th century and is ideal for an unforgettable villa holiday. You will not find a more idyllic villa in the whole of Umbria. Dappled woods, sunflower fields, and rolling vineyards make up the setting of the large estate. The charming residence has been restored to its former splendour by the passionate owners and maintains all the original characteristics and elements that are distinctive to the ancient Torri Palombare architecture. Each of the seven double bedrooms enjoys wonderful views over the estate. The rooms maintain a unique flavour, enriched by antique furniture and refined details, and are accessible by stunning antique terracotta and wooden stairs. The upper part of the Torre Palombara has been converted into a suite on two levels, from which one can access a secret and romantic terrace on the highest side of the villa. On the ground floor, the large and airy living room is enriched by a majestic 13th-century fireplace. From here an March inlaid with antique tiles leads to the dining room where ample windows open to the wonderful views of the valley. The villa is set in an oasis of tranquillity and natural beauty, in a wonderful garden of more than 4,000 sqm. The beautifully landscaped swimming pool, surrounded by sun terrace, overlooks the valley and offers breathtaking views of the medieval town of Narni and its castle and will make you never want to leave. Although, wih the villa located in the southern part of Umbria, it is a perfect base for day trips to the whole region (Spoleto, Assisi, Perugia, Todi, Orvieto etc) or to Rome, which is less than one hour by car or train. Torre Palombara is ideal for villa holiday, for small groups, families and special events. It sleeps 14 guests comfortably and the owners can arrange for tailored services such as local cooks, daily maids and excursions at your request. They are also authorities on local sights, walks and restaurants to help you make the most of your stay.

Outdoor Features The landscaped swimming pool area is found in the 4,000sqm garden and benefits from the sun from sunrise to sunset. A large estate, of woods, hay and sunflower fields, and vineyards, surrounds the Villa and offers an ideal setting for relaxing, walks and excursions.
