Casale Cerfoglio has been constructed for those with discriminating taste wishing to experience the tradition of Umbria while enjoying the luxuries of a leading private property - all the modern conveniences in a peaceful countryside setting.

Spectacular views, tranquil sunsets and a relaxed quality of life, all have been the inspiration of the owners, enchanted with Umbria and Casale Cerfoglio.

Here, in the area of Todi, you can experience the best of many worlds - medieval towns and Roman ruins, first class restaurants, golf, wine tasting - all within easy access of Casale Cerfoglio.

Casale Cerfoglio is situated on a hilltop offering a panoramic view of the rolling hills and valleys of the surrounding countryside and to the southwest, the medieval hill town of Todi.

Construction of the original property dates back to the 15th century housing a Church; when the church was abandoned, the building was expanded into a casale (country house). The original church walls and arches remain intact forming the ground floor living and dining areas. Today, the property includes a private chapel.

Each of the large rooms has a unique character, from the 16th century master bathroom sink, the 18th century bedroom doors to the 19th century grand mantel on the main floor - the attention to detail makes this property truly special.

The exquisitely designed and welcoming interior is complemented by the beautiful grounds and exterior lighting. After sunset the majestic lighting, accenting the cypress and olive trees, can be seen throughout the valley.

The cook/housekeeper Giovanna speaks English as well as Italian so you will quickly find her to be your key resource at the villa. Giovanna will oversee your meals each day and will ensure that all common and private areas of the villa are well maintained.

The caretaker of the property will ensure that your stay is enjoyable and will be at the villa whenever required. She lives nearby and can be reached on her cell phone should you wish assistance with tours and reservations or require local services, she will organize any additional services you request at the villa.
